Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a $1 billion radar station in Crimea

On the night of September 30, units of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully attacked a radar station of the Russian S-400 Triumph air defense missile system in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
This was reported by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces emphasized the symbolism of this attack, as the expensive Russian air defense system, which is designed, in particular, to combat unmanned aerial vehicles, was neutralized by the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces' attack drones.
The ministry explained the importance of the target: the radar station is the "eyes" of the S-400 Triumph air defense missile system. Without this key element, which is responsible for surveillance and guidance, the entire system completely loses its combat capability.
The Special Forces note that their units consistently inflict significant losses on the enemy, which accelerates its inability to continue active hostilities.
Earlier, the Special Forces of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) conducted a successful operation in the temporarily occupied Crimea, causing significant damage to the Russian army.
The masters of the "Ghosts" Special Forces eliminated another expensive enemy target. In the course of the operation, the Ukrainian military intelligence officers burned down two An-26 transport aircraft of the Russian invaders, which were used to transport cargo and personnel.
In addition to the aircraft, the reconnaissance men disabled important elements of the radar infrastructure, hitting a surface radar station and a coastal radar MR-10M1 "Cape M1". The destruction of this station is a significant loss for the enemy, as it provided surveillance of the Black Sea and supported the work of the Russian fleet. The DIU emphasized that their actions systematically harm the occupation army.
