The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed an enemy drone base at an airfield in Sevastopol. The Ukrainian military eliminated five UAVs that Russia used to monitor the Black Sea and adjust artillery.

According to the agency, the forces and means of the Ukrainian Navy destroyed the location of the Forpost and Mohajer-6 UAVs at the Khersones airfield in Sevastopol.
As a result of the strike, up to three Mohajer-6 drones and two Forpost drones were destroyed, which the enemy used to monitor the surface situation in the Black Sea.
The Forpost UAV is a licensed copy of the Israeli IAI Searcher drone. The terrorist country of Russia began producing them in 2012, and in 2014 they entered service with the Russian army. These drones are designed for aerial reconnaissance, including in the combat zone, and can also be used to adjust artillery fire and targeting.
In 2019, the Russians created a modernized version of the Forpost-R, capable not only of reconnaissance but also of strikes, carrying two small-sized KAB-20S bombs. The estimated average cost of one Forpost UAV is about $7 million.
In early August, Ukrainian reconnaissance men hit a rare Russian 98L6 Yenisei radar in occupied Crimea. This latest multifunctional radar, which is integrated into anti-aircraft missile systems, has a range of over 600 km, accurately tracks air targets, including ballistic missiles, and controls air strikes.
In another operation, SBU attack drones attacked the Saki military airfield in Crimea, a key airfield for controlling the Black Sea. The strike completely destroyed one Su-30SM aircraft, damaged four others, and damaged an aircraft weapons depot.
