Intelligence officers of the Ministry of Defense eliminated three Russian air defense systems in the temporarily occupied territories of southern Ukraine and Crimea. Among them are two radar systems.
This was reported by the press service of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
On October 23-24, the Special Forces of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine destroyed three Russian air defense systems in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, as well as in Crimea.
According to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine's Active Operations Department, the reconnaissance men eliminated
- a self-propelled firing unit of Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system
- two radar stations 1L119 "Nebo-SVU".
Air defense systems of the Russian invaders were eliminated in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia, Kherson regions and Crimea. The struggle continues," the DIU said.
The drone of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine also destroyed a modern Russian radar system "Valdai". First, the intelligence officers detected the camouflaged system and then delivered a precision strike.
"Valdai is one of the latest developments of the Russian military-industrial complex, designed to detect, track and neutralize small drones. The complex is equipped with a three-axis radar and a direction finding module to identify drones, and then uses electronic warfare to suppress their control channels.
Another strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces also resulted in a fire at the ATAN filling station in the village of Hvardiyske, Simferopol district. The first explosions occurred around 2:40 am, after which the fuel tanks caught fire.
Ukrainian drones continue to hit logistics and fuel facilities on the peninsula, which creates serious problems for the Russians. The oil depot is owned by Kedr LLC, which controls more than 100 gas stations and a fleet of fuel trucks in Crimea, so the attacks could cause a fuel shortage.
On the night of October 5-6, Ukrainian drones attacked several facilities in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The Feodosia oil depot sustained the most damage, and explosions were recorded near Simferopol, Yevpatoriya, Feodosia, and the Kacha and Saki military airfields.
