On Saturday, August 30, Ukrainian drones destroyed two occupiers' helicopters in Sevastopol.
This was reported by the aviation analytical resource AviVector.
According to information from OSINT analysts who examined satellite images, traces of fire were seen at the airport in the very place where the Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters were based. This event coincided with the data of Russian monitoring resources that had previously reported the movement of drones in the direction of Simferopol.
So far, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has not provided any official comment on the attack.
It is worth noting that, according to the official data of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of the morning of August 30, the total losses of Russian helicopters since the beginning of the full-scale invasion amounted to 340 units.
In the occupied Crimea, the far-right has expanded the power wing of the "vigilante". In coordination with the police, they began patrolling major cities on the peninsula. The influence of the Russian informal movement "Russian community" is growing in the occupied Crimea.
After a conference in Simferopol in July with the participation of Moscow coordinator Andrey Tkachuk, it was decided to expand the ranks of the movement's power wing, the "druzhina," and ensure its presence in patrolling Crimean cities.
Chersonese Tavriya is being robbed in Sevastopol under the cover of the occupiers. The perpetrators act according to a well-established scheme: illegal excavations, export of ancient artifacts and payment of kickbacks to Russian security forces.
Those who refuse to give up part of their loot are detained. Recently, law enforcement officers detained a man who was carrying a metal detector and a collection of coins that spanned the period from ancient times to the 20th century.
