On the night of October 5-6, Ukrainian drones attacked several facilities in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The Feodosia oil depot, the largest on the peninsula, was hit the hardest.
According to the Crimean Wind telegram channel, explosions were heard in the areas of Simferopol, Yevpatoria and Feodosia, as well as near the Kacha and Saki military airfields.
The channel also reported that drones hit the Feodosia oil terminal, where a large-scale fire broke out. Two large fires broke out at the Feodosia oil depot, and the blaze can be seen from 30 kilometers away.
As the channel noted, the base had been hit by Ukrainian drones several times before: only 22 of 34 tanks remained intact. In October 2024, a fire after the attack engulfed 12 fuel tanks, 8 of which burned down completely. In addition, buildings on the territory of the terminal were damaged.
Because of the situation, the occupiers blocked a section of the Kerch highway that runs next to the facility. Explosions were also recorded over Yevpatoriya, Saki, Sevastopol, Dzhankoy and Simferopol.
Also yesterday at 18:26 a powerful explosion was heard in Dzhankoy district. According to eyewitnesses, thesmoke rose over the village of Azovske, where the Russian military constantly store ammunition and has been hit several times.
On the night of October 3, Ukrainian forces attacked the railway infrastructure in occupied Crimea. A traction substation at the Buzok station (also known as Siren) in the Bakhchisaray district was hit. In the morning, the area around the facility was tightly cordoned off by Russian military, who did not allow civilians to enter. The Buzok substation supplies 35 kilovolts and is critical to the operation of the railroad in the region, providing power for train traffic.
Earlier, on the night of September 30, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully attacked a radar station of the Russian S-400 Triumph air defense system in Crimea. The cost of such a station reaches 1 billion dollars. The radar station acts as the "eyes" of the complex: without it, the system responsible for surveillance and guidance completely loses its combat capability.
