The loud sounds of the engines of cars, motorcycles and mopeds that our neighbors and fellow citizens drive through the streets of Ukrainian cities annoy many people.
Accent figured out why the vehicles roar and how it annoys the citizens.

Naturally, when people hear the loud roar of cars and motorcycles, they ask "where are the police, why don't they respond and stop the drivers?" Even the military reacts to these loud and harsh sounds - they say that if an engine roars in the whole neighborhood, air defense equipment can perceive it as a threat.
However, the police can actually do little about overly loud vehicles because the law does not provide for any punishment for this. Currently, the police fine such drivers for other violations, as there is no document that would regulate the punishment for excessive volume. The police also currently do not have equipment to measure noise levels.
