The SBU launched a drone strike on the Belbek airfield in Crimea. The strikes reduced the capabilities of racists on the occupied peninsula and disrupted the organization of their flights.

This was reported by the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine.

The SBU destroyed two Russian Su-27 aircraft at the Belbek airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Drones of the Alpha Special Operations Center hit one plane, which was standing on the taxiway with full ammunition and was ready for a combat flight, and another.

It is estimated that the estimated cost of both machines is about 70 million US dollars. Damage to the control tower was also confirmed, which will make it difficult to control and organize flights at the airfield.

According to the press service, the strikes on key military facilities in Crimea, including the destruction of aircraft and air defense systems, significantly reduce Russia's military potential in the region.

This is the second successful SBU attack on Belbek in recent days. On the night of December 18, long-range drones of the SBU Special Operations Center "A" struck at Russian military facilities in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The main target was the air defense facilities at the Belbek airfield, where hundreds of millions of dollars worth of expensive equipment was hit. Two long-range radar detection systems "Nebo-SVU", each estimated at 60-100 million dollars, as well as radar 92H6 from S-400 "Triumph", "Pantsir-S2" and a MiG-31 fighter with a full complement of ammunition were hit.

On the night of October 29, the Ukrainian military attacked two oil depots near Simferopol: in Gvardeyskoye (Kedr, ATAN network) and Komsomolskaya (TPP). At least six tanks were destroyed in Gvardeyskoye, and the fires lasted up to four days. Experts estimate that each tank could have cost up to a million dollars.

In the fall of 2025, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck more than 50 Russian fuel and military-industrial infrastructure facilities. Experts noted that Ukrainian troops had never before conducted so many effective strikes in such a short period of time.
