On the night of June 27-28, drones of the Ukrainian special service attacked the Kirovske military airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to the Security Service of Ukraine, the enemy targeted the aviation component's deployment sites, air defense facilities, ammunition storage facilities, as well as enemy reconnaissance and strike UAVs.
"Available data indicates the destruction of multi-purpose and attack helicopters Mi-8, Mi-26 and Mi-28, as well as a self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun system Pantsyr-S1," the statement said.
Secondary detonation took place at the enemy airfield during the night.
Earlier, a group of SBU Sea Vabu maritime drones engaged in a battle with Russian helicopters, planes and patrol boats that tried to intercept them over the Kerch Strait. The Russian pilots considered themselves hunters and expected an easy hunt, but they became prey because the maritime drones returned fire.
In addition, the SBU added that the newest Sea Babies were equipped with large-caliber machine guns with ballistic programs for automatic targeting and auto-capture. Referring to intercepted Russian radio communications, the SBU notes that there are dead and wounded on board the helicopters. The helicopters themselves allegedly suffered significant damage and now require major repairs.
Ukrainian security agents also mined the pillars of the Crimean bridge. And on June 3, without any civilian casualties, the first explosive device was activated at 4:44 am. The underwater supports of the pylons were severely damaged at the bottom level - 1100 kg of TNT equivalent explosives contributed to this. In fact, the bridge is in a state of emergency.
