Russian military increases the number of air defense systems in Crimea

The Russian military has increased the number of air defense systems near key Russian military facilities in the occupied Crimea. At the same time, they are weakening the defense of other frontline areas.

According to ATES, the guerrillas conducted a reconnaissance of the Hvardiyske military airfield near Simferopol, which is actively used by the Russian invaders to base their aviation and logistics in Crimea.

"We recorded a significant increase in air defense systems in the area of the airfield, discovering many S-400 launchers and radar stations. This facility plays a key role in providing air support and supplying Russian troops in southern Ukraine," the statement said.

The guerrillas provided the coordinates of the airfield: 45.120762527, 33.957715465.

"We note that the occupiers have deployed additional air defense systems to Crimea to protect key military facilities, thereby exposing other parts of the frontline. This demonstrates the vulnerability of their defense, as well as the importance of military facilities located in Crimea to them," ATES noted.

The guerrillas said that all the information they collected was passed on to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

"Our agents completed the task unnoticed, proving that the occupiers cannot feel safe even in the deep rear," ATES emphasized.

Earlier, the guerrillas discovered that the Russians had begun to redeploy their aircraft to inactive airfields. For example, the occupiers are working on runways, repairing buildings and moving military equipment and people to the territory of Zavodske airport in temporarily occupied Simferopol.

ATES agents also exposed a large fuel depot used to supply Russian military equipment located in the Kamenolomna area in the Saki district of Crimea. The warehouse contained not only fuel tanks, but also military equipment that was in storage. The coordinates of this facility were also transferred to the Ukrainian military.
