Russian Drones Attack Odesa Region Again, Injuring 2 in Pivdenne

For the third night in a row, Russian occupiers have been massively attacking the Odesa region with kamikaze drones. On the evening of March 5, the town of Pivdenne came under attack.

According to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, both the civilian and energy infrastructure of Pivdenne came under fire.

Two people were injured in the attack, one of them was hospitalized. A private two-story house was heavily damaged, and the windows of an administrative building were also damaged. In addition, one of the region's energy facilities was hit.

Currently, all the necessary services are working at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the strike and restore electricity supply.

According to the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, the attack damaged private and multi-story buildings, service stations and at least 15 cars. The destroyed infrastructure left more than ten thousand local residents without electricity.

Prosecutors have launched a pre-trial investigation into the war crimes under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Currently, law enforcement officers continue to inspect the sites of shelling and document the consequences of armed aggression. The full list of damages and the extent of destruction are still being established.
