Russian Drone Attacks in Kherson Injure Civilians and Police

On the morning of February 5, 2025, the Russian military again attacked Antonivka with drones. Both civilians and law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene to evacuate the wounded were injured in the attack.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, the occupiers dropped explosives that injured four civilians - three men aged 47, 48 and 54 and a 48-year-old woman.

As police were evacuating the victims, Russian forces struck again, attacking a police car. The explosion injured three law enforcement officers.

The Kherson District Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal investigation into the commission of a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Investigators continue to document the crimes of the Russian military.

Yesterday, on February 4, Russian troops once again attacked the Kherson region using aircraft, artillery and drones. One person was killed and eight others were injured as a result of the Russian aggression.

The occupiers hit residential areas and social infrastructure. The attacks damaged at least 10 private houses, a gas station, outbuildings, and civilian vehicles.

According to the Kherson Prosecutor's Office, a 71-year-old man died in the village of Mylove as a result of artillery shelling.

On February 3, in the morning, an employee of the City Road Department, a municipal enterprise, who came under enemy fire at his workplace on January 30, died in hospital. Volodymyr Vasylkiv, 62, was doing his job when the Russian occupiers attacked the Korabelny district.

Also in the afternoon, Russians attacked an ambulance onits way to Naddnipryanske from a drone. The vehicle sustained minor damage, and the medics were not injured. In total, Russian troops have shelled the Dniprovsky district of Kherson since early morning.
