Russian Attacks on Kherson: 31 Settlements Hit, 9 Wounded in 24 Hours

Over the past 24 hours, Russian enemy troops attacked 31 settlements in Kherson region. Nine people were wounded in the shelling, including one child.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District, the enemy struck at critical and social infrastructure facilities, as well as residential areas. At least three multi-storey buildings and eleven private houses were damaged. An agricultural enterprise, a farm, gas pipelines, a garage and a private car were also destroyed.

Dozens of settlements in the region came under fire, including: Beryslav, Stanislav, Kherson, Antonivka, Zmiivka, Mykilske, Urozhayne, Tyahyntsi, Novoberislav, Kachkarivka, Osokorivka, Molodizhne, Sadove, Mykhaylivka and others.

Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration, informed that on Tuesday morning Russian troops attacked Kherson again with drones, causing civilian casualties.

"About an hour ago, the enemy dropped explosives from a drone in the Dniprovsky district," the official said in a statement.

An 85-year-old man was wounded in the attack - he sustained a mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds. The victim was hospitalized, his condition is moderate.

Mrochko also added that the night before, the occupants attacked another man in the same area. The victim is a 66-year-old local resident who also sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds. He was also taken to the hospital, his condition is stable and of moderate severity.

In March, 17 civilians were killed in Kherson community as a result of hostile shelling and drone attacks, and 168 people were injured.

In February, Kherson lost 13 of its residents, and another 113 people were injured of varying severity by Russian shelling. In January 2025, 16 residents of Kherson were killed in enemy attacks, and another 154 residents were injured.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Russian army has attacked the Kherson city territorial community more than 2,500 times.
