Russian Air Strikes Injure 1 and Damage Buildings in Odesa Region

A fire, damage to buildings and one person were injured on the night of March 28 as a result of Russian air strikes on the territory of Odesa region.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service in Odesa region.

In particular, as a result of the enemy attack, garages and outbuildings caught fire, and private homes were damaged. The fires were extinguished by rescuers of the State Emergency Service and firefighters of the National Guard of Ukraine.

Five units of equipment and 27 firefighters were involved from the State Emergency Service, and two units of equipment and eight soldiers from the National Guard of Ukraine.

At night, during an air attack by the Russian occupiers, the Ukrainian Navy shot down three enemy Shahed 136 kamikaze drones.

On the night of March 21, the enemy attacked Odesa and the region with attack drones. Three people were injured, including minors. As a result of the Russian attack, fires broke out in three locations. Local emergency power outages had to be introduced in Prymorskyi, Peresypskyi and Kyivskyi districts of Odesa. More than 70 rescuers, 22 fire trucks, as well as 5 volunteers and 1 piece of equipment were involved in the response.

On March 6, a sabotage attack damaged energy facilities and residential buildings in the suburban area of Odesa. As a result of an enemy strike, three private residential buildings caught fire in the suburbs of Odesa. Damage to critical energy facilities was also reported. It was the fourth consecutive night of attacks on Odesa's infrastructure.

On the evening of March 5, the town of Pivdenne came under attack. Two people were injured in the attack, one of them was hospitalized. A private two-story house was heavily damaged, and the windows of an administrative building were also damaged. In addition, one of the region's energy facilities was damaged.
