Gas supply is partially absent in Pivdenne, Odesa Oblast, and utilities are currently working to restore it.

This was reported by the press service of the city council.

The reasons for the lack of gas supply are not disclosed by the mayor's office, but in the evening of October 20, local residents reported explosions in the city during an air raid alert.

The head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper , reported the threat of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles and ballistic missiles. According to the official, at night the enemy attacked Odesa region again with a combined missile and drone strike. Most of the air targets were destroyed by air defense forces, but there were hits that damaged civilian port infrastructure and caused several fires. There were no reports of casualties or injuries.

According to the Air Force Command, on the night of October 20, Russians attacked Ukraine with three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 60 Shahed, Gerber and other types of attack drones, of which about 40 were Shahed.

Despite the air defense efforts, according to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m., three ballistic missiles and 20 attack drones were recorded at 12 locations. The air defense neutralized 38 enemy drones in the north, south and east of the country.

Russians have intensified attacks on infrastructure as the fall approaches. Thus, as a result of an enemy drone attack on Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi in Odesa Oblast on the night of October 12, critical infrastructure facilities were partially damaged. The city was left without water supply for a short time. One civilian was injured in the night attack. A 34-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized from her private home. In addition, the enemy attacked Podilskyi district, where a gas transportation infrastructure facility was damaged.

Also, part of Odesa was cut off from electricity supply as a result of a Russian attack on the region's energy infrastructure on the night of October 11. Power supply has now been restored in the city.
