Rashists launched artillery and drone strikes on settlements in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. The attacks killed one person and injured six others.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District Administration, from October 9 to 06:00 on October 10, Russian troops continued to shell the Kherson region. Twenty-eight settlements came under fire, including Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Antonivka, Zolota Balka, and Kizomys.

The occupiers fired artillery and attacked residential areas, critical and social infrastructure with drones. Nine private houses and five apartment buildings were damaged, as well as a bank building, a shop, a garage and several cars.

Also, according to the head of Mykolaiv Military District Vitaliy Kim, one person was killed and six others were wounded as a result of Russian shelling. In addition, the enemy fired twice at the Kutsurubska community with artillery and attacked the Ochakivska community with FPV drones five times, with no casualties. At night, four Shahed-type UAVs and various types of imitation drones were shot down in the air defense area.

According to the State Emergency Service, at night in Brovary, Kyiv region, the wreckage of an enemy drone fell on a two-story minimarket building, causing a fire and partial destruction of the building. The fire was quickly extinguished by rescuers.

On the afternoon of October 9, a Russian drone attacked a utility vehicle in the Korabelny district of Kherson. As a result of the strike, an employee of the utility company who was driving the car was killed on the spot. Three of his colleagues, aged 44, 48 and 49, sustained contusions, shrapnel wounds and head injuries.

This is not the first shelling of the city in recent days. On the morning of October 7, Russians dropped explosives on a public bus stop, killing a 65-year-old man and injuring another local resident, aged 70. On the same day, the city center was shelled, smashing windows and damaging the facades of buildings.

The day before, on October 6, the enemy targeted residential areas and social infrastructure. An apartment building, two private houses, an outbuilding and several cars were destroyed. One person was killed and three others were wounded.
