Occupation court of Sevastopol sentences local man for incitement to violence

In Sevastopol, the Russian-controlled Gagarinsky District Court sentenced a 37-year-old local resident to two years' suspended imprisonment. He was accused of allegedly calling on the Internet for violent actions against a group of people on a national basis.
This was reported by Krym.Realii.
According to the occupation prosecutor's office, the accusation is based on a comment the man left in December 2022 on one of the Telegram channels. It is believed that this comment contained direct calls for violence against people of a certain nationality.
In addition to the suspended sentence, the verdict includes additional restrictions: the convict will not be allowed to administer any online resources (websites, chats, channels) for two years. His cell phone was also confiscated.
It is worth noting that the specific content of the statements and the name of the Telegram channel are not disclosed. The name and surname of the convict remain unknown, as well as his own public comments. Given the circumstances of the war, it is impossible to independently confirm the veracity of the statements disseminated by Russian law enforcement agencies.
The health condition of Ukrainian political prisoner, a native of Kirovohrad region, Oleksandr Osadchiy, who is being held in the Simferopol detention center, has deteriorated significantly. His relatives, who saw him in court, noted that the 62-year-old man had lost a lot of weight during his detention.
Osadchy, who is of Bulgarian origin and has lived in Feodosia for over 40 years, is charged by Russian security forces with three articles of the Criminal Code, including"espionage" and "high treason," for which he faces up to 20 years in prison.
Oleksandr Osadchiy was detained on August 24, 2023, after a search in his home, after which he remained in the status of "incommunicado" for almost a year, and his family had no information about his whereabouts. It was only in June 2024 that it became known that he was alive and in the Simferopol pre-trial detention center.
Human rights activists managed to identify the man from a video published by the occupiers, where he allegedly "confesses" to cooperating with the Ukrainian special services and passing information about the location of military facilities and infrastructure of the Feodosia seaport with his face covered.
