Near the Crimean shipyard Zaliv (Kerch), construction of a new line of coastal fortifications was spotted. This indicates that the occupation forces are trying to strengthen the protection of strategic facilities.
This was reported by Krymsky Viter.
The new fortifications include firing points with anti-aircraft machine guns and observation posts. These posts are covered by concrete structures with wooden sheds and booths to protect them from the weather.
This is not the first attempt by Russia to protect the plant. Earlier, the approach to the bay was blocked by barges with passive electronic warfare elements, and a riverine artillery boat patrolled the entrance.
Such large-scale measures are obviously related to the fact that large warships for the Russian Black Sea Fleet are being built on the Zaliv. In particular, last summer, the occupiers began constructing the hull of the Ivan Rogov project 23900 universal landing ship, which makes the plant a priority target for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Earlier, the occupation's 'Center for the Development of Competencies of Civil Servants of the Republic of Crimea', which operates on the basis of the 'Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after Fevzi Yakubov', signed a so-called 'strategic agreement' with the Faculty of Public Administration of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
This Center operates on the basis of the 'Fevzi Yakubov Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University' and aims to train managerial personnel for the needs of the Russian administration.
This agreement is aimed at strengthening the integration of the Crimean educational space and accelerating the training of management personnel to ensure the operation of the Russian state machine in the occupied territory. Cooperation with Moscow State University is another step towards standardizing the training of local officials in accordance with the requirements of the Russian Federation.
