Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the illegal authorities have launched at least nine new media outlets. The occupiers use propaganda resources to impose their narratives and spread disinformation.

This was reported in a video by Radio Liberty's Pryazovia News project.

Thus, the Russian Orthodox radio "Vira" began broadcasting in the occupied Henichesk, Berdiansk, Melitopol, and Mariupol. In addition, in 2025, Russia plans to launch the Russian state radio Sputnik in Mariupol, Melitopol, Berdiansk, and Nova Kakhovka.

And in the occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, Russia has allocated 98 FM frequencies and two TV channels for its broadcasting: "Za!TV and Tavria, as well as a number of print media.

Back in February 2025, the illegal head of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, banned the use of unlicensed satellite broadcasting systems. We are talking about Ukrainian satellite dishes, which the occupiers call "gorinichs". Residents are offered to exchange these satellite dishes for Russian World sets for free.

The MP from Mykolaiv region is involved in an investigation into possible lobbying of businesses associated with sanctioned Russian entities. The companies of his acquaintance receive government orders for aircraft repair despite their ties to Russian citizens.

In Crimea, Russian security forces detained former MP and oil trader Serhiy Beim on suspicion of fraud. His business is linked to financing the Russian army, trading in stolen gas stations and friendship with influential politicians in Russia.
