In the first half of 2025, the Russian authorities of Crimea sold more than 2.2 billion rubles worth of "nationalized" property at auction.
This is reported by the information portal Krym. Realii news portal.
The head of the Russian-controlled Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, wrote on his telegram channel that all the property of "enemies of Russia and Crimea" had become the property of the republic and was put up for auction. In the first half of 2025, 25 nationalized objects were sold. As a result, the Crimean budget received more than 2.2 billion rubles.
The funds were allegedly used for the development of the peninsula and support for the participants in the war against Ukraine.
In 2023, Konstantinov reported on 2500 objects. This list included the assets of businessman Ihor Kolomoisky, the building of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, and the apartments of the wife of the President of Ukraine Olena Zelenska.
Ukraine and the international community consider these actions to be misappropriation of property in violation of international law. Kyiv has repeatedly emphasized that once Crimea is returned to Ukrainian control, all acts of "nationalization" will be annulled and the property returned to its owners.
Also, Ukraine will soon try a collaborator, the Minister of Fuel and Energy, who voluntarily agreed to serve the occupiers in Crimea.
The offender's stay in the temporarily occupied territory still limits the possibility of comprehensive measures to bring him to justice for crimes against our country. According to the collected evidence, he is charged under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration).
Similarly, a number of Ukrainian human rights organizations continue to record human rights violations by the aggressor country, in particular against Ukrainian citizens.
We have already written that on July 15, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the draft laws of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and extended martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine. The decision will come into force on August 7 and will last for 90 days, until November 5.
