Military and police fight with driver in Odesa region

The Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support commented on the video of the incident that took place in the village of Zelenohirske, Podil district.
According to the regional CCC, the incident occurred on August 2.
As part of mobilization activities in the Podil district, a joint alert group of the CCC and JV and representatives of the National Police stopped a vehicle to check military registration documents. A check in the Oberig database revealed that the citizen was wanted for violating the rules of military registration. In addition, the police used a technical device (drager) to establish that the driver was intoxicated.
"The citizen resisted the request of law enforcement officers to go with them to draw up the relevant administrative materials and carry out further mobilization procedures. In response, the police and military were forced to use physical force," the TCC said.
The fact of resistance to law enforcement officials was registered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. An administrative report was also drawn up against the driver for driving while intoxicated (Article 130 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses).
The day before, the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support commented on a video in which a woman grabs a military man, an employee of one of the centers, and claims that she is taking him hostage.
In its commentary on the situation, the regional CCC called the video manipulative, stating that it only shows the end of the incident, ignoring the causes and circumstances that led to it. According to the TCC, on August 1, a civilian at the entrance to the TCC and JV building staged a provocation and behaved extremely aggressively near the sensitive facility.
