Large-scale destruction and casualties: Mykolaiv shows the consequences of a shakedown attack

On the morning of July 6, Russian invaders attacked Mykolaiv. They attacked the regional center with several Shaheds. The attack damaged ten residential buildings, a catering establishment and a bank.
According to Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Military District, the Russians attacked with a group of Shahed 131/136 kamikaze drones. The air raid alarm sounded at 09:23, and a few minutes later, by 09:40, explosions were heard in the city.
Two people were injured in the strike. A 31-year-old woman was hospitalized with injuries - according to doctors, her condition is assessed as moderate. A 35-year-old man, who was also injured, was treated at the scene and did not need hospitalization.
Significant damage to infrastructure is also known. The explosions partially destroyed ten residential buildings in different parts of the city. A catering establishment and a bank building were damaged by shrapnel. Rescuers, medics, police and emergency services are working at the sites of the explosions.

It should be added that the night of July 6 was turbulent for Mykolaiv region, as the region suffered another massive attack by Shahed-type attack drones. The air defense forces were actively working, and some of the drones were shot down, but some of the enemy drones reached their targets.
In Mykolaiv, the port infrastructure was hit, damaging warehouses and power grids. However, there were no civilian casualties.
Recently, the Russians launched a missile attack on Ochakiv, using X-59/69 missiles. Two high-rise buildings, 22 private houses, a power line and a car were damaged. A brush fire broke out and was quickly extinguished.
On June 3, the occupiers attacked the port of Mykolaiv with a Kinzhal air defense missile.
