Odesa region will receive a total of 237 million hryvnias from the state budget to eliminate the consequences of shelling and meet priority needs.
According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, the region is among the areas that will receive the most additional funding.
In total, the government has allocated about UAH 1 billion for nine frontline regions and 93 communities. Of this amount, 360 million will go to regional budgets, and another 576.6 million to communities located in areas of active or possible hostilities.
Odesa region will receive UAH 40 million, and 43 communities in the region will receive another UAH 197.2 million.
"The additional funding will allow us to quickly restore damaged infrastructure, strengthen security and support the operation of critical enterprises," said the head of the OVA.
Meanwhile, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has not yet ratified a grant agreement with Italy to restore Odesa's cultural heritage, which provides for the allocation of 32 million euros to restore the city's architectural monuments affected by Russian aggression.
It is worth noting that Russians have damaged many real estate objects in Odesa region. In particular, 119 architectural monuments have been destroyed or damaged in Odesa region: 28 of national significance, 91 of local significance (Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district - 1; Odesa district - 117, Izmail district - 1).
On the night of November 14, Russians again attacked the south of Odesa region with attack drones, hitting civilian infrastructure. The air defense forces destroyed most of the enemy targets, but there was damage to civilian infrastructure and an energy facility. The attack on the energy facility caused fires and damaged a nearby residential building and the roof of a garage. Rescuers localized the fire, but there is one victim, a 61-year-old man, who received medical care.
