Kherson region under a barrage of attacks: Russians wound children aged 17 and 9

During the day, Russians shelled Kherson region from the air and ground, hitting residential areas and infrastructure in more than 40 settlements. 11 people were injured, dozens of houses, a gas station, a gas pipeline and cars were destroyed.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
On July 4-5, 2025, the Russian army shelled the Kherson region with drones, artillery, and air strikes. More than 40 settlements were under fire. Among them are Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Osokorivka, Kizomys, Tyahynka, and Stanislav.
Residential areas and social infrastructure facilities were hit. Two high-rise buildings, 26 private houses, a gas pipeline, a gas station, a garage and several cars were damaged.
As a result of the attacks, 11 civilians were injured.
From July 3 to 4, at least 47 settlements in the Kherson region came under fire from Russian artillery, aircraft and kamikaze drones. The shelling destroyed or damaged at least 12 private houses, and damaged local residents' cars and an ambulance.
The attacks killed one civilian and injured four others. On the evening of July 3, Russian troops shelled Novooleksandrivka with rocket artillery - about 20 hits were recorded. At least three residential buildings and outbuildings were destroyed.
On July 4, enemy drones repeatedly hit Kherson. In the morning, a woman sustained an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to her leg after an explosive was dropped from a UAV. In the Central district, two more people were injured - a 34-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, both with explosive injuries and wounds.
Around 10:30 a.m., a drone attacked a 67-year-old woman from Kherson, who sustained blast injuries. At the same time, a 52-year-old resident of Novodmitrivka in Bilozerska community was injured and diagnosed with blast trauma and contusion. At around 13:00, two women in Dniprovsky district were injured as a result of another drone attack: A 60-year-old woman from Kherson sustained severe leg injuries, and a 76-year-old woman sustained blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to her arms and legs.
At 15:00, an enemy drone struck the Korabelny district, causing a 54-year-old woman to sustain an explosive injury, contusion and acute stress reaction. At around 14:00, another drone attack in a residential area caused damage to a car and smashed windows in nearby houses. Three people were injured, including an 84-year-old woman and two children aged 17 and 9.
A day earlier, shelling damaged two high-rise buildings, seven private houses, an outbuilding, a hospital, an educational institution, an administrative building, several cars and a truck. Nine civilians were wounded.
