The timeframe for restoring electricity, water and heat supply to Odesa residents is currently unknown.

This was stated by the head of Odesa MVA, Serhiy Lysak, during a briefing.

He noted that everything currently depends on the power industry, because without electricity supply it will be impossible to restore either water or heat supply. According to Mr. Lysak, by the end of the day on December 13, the administration will have some clarity on how to restore the city's critical infrastructure.

At present, 428 steadfastness points have been deployed in the city, 16 pump rooms are powered by generators, 16 water delivery points have been deployed and 32 more points are planned to be provided with the help of the State Emergency Service.

According to Lysak, hospitals are provided with generators, drinking and industrial water.

Odesa and Odesa region have been under attack by Russian missiles and drones throughout the day, resulting in a largely lack of electricity and water supply in the city as of the morning of December 13. As a result of the enemy attack, all traction substations in the city were left without power supply, and the operation of trams and trolleybuses was temporarily suspended. Four people were injured in the shelling.

On December 12, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the information initially disseminated by the media about the damage to a civilian ship in one of the ports of Odesa region, Chornomorsk.

Also, around the evening of December 12, Infoksvodokanal announced the restoration of electricity supply to its facilities, which will allow it to resume water supply to residents of areas that were temporarily deprived of it due to the Russian attack on the energy infrastructure of Odesa region on the night of December 12. These are the consumers of Luzanivka and Kotovske residential areas and the town of Pivdenne. As well as the following settlements: Ilichanka, Korsuntsi, Krasnosilka, Svitloye, Oleksandrivka, Kryzhanivka, Lisky, Fontanka, Vapnyarka, Nova Dofinivka, Chornomorske, Zmiienkove, Hryhorivka, Novi Bilyari, Buldynka, Vizyrka, Bilyari, Sychavka.

On the night of December 12, they massively attacked Odesa district with attack drones. Despite the active work of air defense forces, energy infrastructure facilities were damaged. Warehouses, an administrative building and a garage were also damaged. Fires broke out at the site and were extinguished by rescuers.
