Electric transport operation in Mykolaiv restricted as a result of enemy attack

At night and in the early morning, Russian troops attacked critical and industrial infrastructure in Mykolaiv region. Some settlements were left without electricity.

This was reported by the mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Senkevych.

On the night of December 13 and in the morning, Russian troops attacked the critical and industrial infrastructure of Mykolaiv region. As a result of the shelling, settlements in Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts were left without electricity, and restoration work is underway. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.

According to Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Military District Military Administration, the enemy attacked Kutsurubska, Halytsynivska and Ochakivska communities 11 times with FPV drones in Mykolaiv district over the past day. As a result of one of the attacks in Dmytrivka village, three private houses were damaged, another house was damaged in Lupareve village. There were no casualties or injuries.

Due to power outages in Mykolaiv, public transport is operating with restrictions today, December 13. Only PTS trolleybuses with an autonomous range of up to 20 kilometers are providing transportation. Trams and Dnipro trolleybuses have been temporarily suspended.

The official noted that during the restoration work, no purified water will be distributed by tram or trolleybus. The city authorities are asking passengers to follow the routes closely - drivers will additionally announce the direction and final stops during their trips.

In addition, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, part of the Kherson region, including the city of Kherson, was cut off from electricity as a result of massive Russian strikes in Ukraine.

Also, Odesa and Odesa region were under massive attacks by Russian missiles and drones throughout the day. As a result of the shelling, as of the morning of December 13, the city was mostly without electricity and water supply. The attacks began on the night of December 12, continued intermittently throughout the day on December 13, and continued unabated on the night of December 13.
