Crimean political prisoner Enver Khalilayev needs surgery, he is refused treatment

Enver Khalilayev, a defendant in the "third Dzhankoy group" in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case, needs surgery to remove an umbilical hernia. However, he is denied assistance while the investigation is ongoing.
This is reported by the human rights organization Crimean Solidarity on its website.
Also, Khalilayev's hearing has deteriorated and headaches have begun.
"According to the interlocutor of the Crimean Solidarity, Khalilayev cannot undergo a hernia surgery while the court investigation is ongoing. Currently, the man is in SIZO-1 in Rostov-on-Don. At the same time, according to the Crimean Tatar, he has already been visited by the staff of the medical unit of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Rostov region. Together with them, he planned the operation," the statement says.
According to human rights activists, in early July, the lawyer assigned to Enver Khalilayev stated that he had a whole list of diseases that were worsening his condition. He noted that the defendant suffers from otitis media, cardiovascular diseases, umbilical hernia and other illnesses. Despite the arguments of the defense counsel, the court extended the preventive measure and left Khalilayev in custody at least until October 13.
Illegal "Simferopol District Court" in Crimea will consider a case of administrative offense against the independent Crimean Tatar newspaper "Qirim".
As the Crimean Process NGO has found out, the occupiers have brought new charges against the newspaper as a legal entity for abusing freedom of information. That is, the publication is accused of not marking organizations recognized as "foreign agents" in the text.
