The Economic Court of Odesa Region has recovered UAH 117.5 million from the Russian Federation following a lawsuit filed by the Odesa subsidiary of Integrated Logistics Systems.

The company claimed compensation for damages caused by a missile strike on the night of May 8, 2023, the Dumskaya newspaper reported.

The court stated that in such cases, a foreign state does not enjoy legal immunity: it is a case of Russia causing damage to a Ukrainian legal entity on the territory of Ukraine in violation of the UN Charter and other international agreements and conventions.

"Integrated Logistics Systems is a national logistics operator and the exclusive agent of DAMCO in Ukraine. The company also fulfills orders for KERNEL, DOW Chemical Company, Carlsberg, IDS Group, Industrial and Distribution Systems CJSC, Escaro, Watsons Ukraine and other multinational organizations.
