Court of the occupiers demands to return a blind political prisoner to prison

In Russia, a Krasnoyarsk court has ruled to return Crimean Muslim and political prisoner Oleksandr Sizikov to prison. He was recently released from prison for health reasons.
This was reported by Krym.Realii.
Let us recall that Sizikov was released from prison by the Minusinsk City Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory of the Russian Federation on May 26, 2025 due to illness. A medical examination diagnosed him with a complete loss of vision. This disease is included in the official list of diseases that impede the serving of a sentence.
On May 28, after his release, the blind man was met at the Sochi airport by his lawyer Edem Semedlyayev and his mother. Oleksandr Sizikov is a defendant in the so-called "fourth Bakhchisarai case of Hizb ut-Tahrir". He was born in Simferopol, but later moved to Bakhchisaray district.
In 2009, Sizikov became a first-group disabled person after he was hit by a car while riding a bicycle, which caused him to lose his sight completely. He was assisted in his daily life by his fellow villagers and Imam Edem Smailov.
Sizikov was detained on July 7, 2020, after searches of his friends' homes. The FSB accuses him of allegedly "founding a terrorist cell in 2015". Sizikov could not accept the arrest of his imam, so he repeatedly went on sporadic protests and attended court hearings, which probably attracted the attention of Russian security forces.
In occupied Crimea, on October 15, Russian security forces conducted a series of searches and detained Crimean women - mothers and students - on charges of having ties to the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization banned in Russia. Human rights activists consider these actions to be part of a systemic pressure on Crimean Tatars, especially women.
