Over the past day, Russian troops continued massive shelling and air strikes on the territory of Kherson region. As a result of the attacks, people were killed and injured.

According to the Kherson Military District, the enemy attacked 36 settlements, including Beryslav, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Stanislav, Kizomys, Mykilske and the city of Kherson. Both residential areas and critical infrastructure facilities were hit.

The shelling damaged three multi-story buildings and five private homes. A gas pipeline, an outbuilding, a garage, a bus, as well as public and private transportation were destroyed.

According to the CMA, two civilians were killed and nine others were injured as a result of the aggression.

The attacks resulted in the deaths of two civilians, nine injuries, and damage to buildings and vehicles.

According to the Kherson prosecutor's office, on the morning of January 7, an enemy drone attacked the village of Naddnipryanske, dropping explosives, killing a 62-year-old local resident.

"Also, the body of a 48-year-old woman was found near the cemetery in Bilozerka. According to preliminary data, she died on January 5 as a result of a drone attack," the statement said.

During the day, shelling in Beryslav resulted in two people being wounded. Another person was injured in Kherson and Stanislav.
