At night, private houses were targeted by Russian drones in Odesa region

On the night of November 9, the Russian army attacked Odesa region with unmanned aerial vehicles, hitting civilian infrastructure.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
According to him, the air defense forces destroyed most of the enemy targets, but the debris of enemy drones damaged private households. A garage and the roofs of two residential buildings were destroyed. Fires broke out and were extinguished by rescuers. According to the State Emergency Service in Odesa region, the fires were caused by damage to gas networks.
On November 7, Odesa region was twice targeted by Russian attacks, in addition to the night attack the night before, the region was also attacked in the evening of the same day. Despite the effective work of the air defense forces, there was damage to the energy infrastructure in the south of the region. There were no reports of casualties or injuries. According to the State Emergency Service, a fire broke out at the energy infrastructure facility as a result of the strikes. The response efforts were complicated by repeated air raid alarms.
On the night of November 7, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 128 Shahed, Gerber, and other types of attack drones. The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m., air defense neutralized 94 enemy drones in the north, south and east of the country. In particular, 31 attack drones were hit at 11 locations.
