American filmmaker launches global campaign to protect Kherson

The world is preparing large-scale actions in support of Kherson, where the humanitarian situation is rapidly deteriorating. A filmmaker from the United States has called for joining a global movement to draw attention to the destruction of the city and the need for urgent assistance.
This was announced by the initiator of the action, American journalist and director of the documentary Kherson: A Safari for People Zarina Zabriskie.
According to her, the humanitarian situation in Kherson is deteriorating hourly, as evidenced by reports from local residents, activists and volunteers. According to them, the city is undergoing systemic destruction, and the need for international attention and assistance is growing.
According to the journalist, activists from different countries are working around the clock to draw the attention of world leaders to the crisis in the region. As part of this initiative, a global action SAVE KHERSON/STOP HUMAN SAFARI will be held in more than 20 cities around the world on December 12-14. The organizer said that the movement continues to expand and is looking for coordinators in the United States, particularly in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Currently, actions have already been confirmed in Dallas, Denver and Seattle, and additional support is being sought for Chicago.
As Zabriskie emphasized, any city or community can join the initiative - it does not necessarily need to have corporate or organizational support, as its goal is to unite people to save Kherson.
As part of the information campaign, the documentary Kherson: Human Safari is also being shown in different countries. Last week it was shown in Dallas, on December 3 the film will be presented in the German community Ermstalhilft, and on December 7 - in Groningen, the Netherlands.
The organizers urge to spread the word and join the actions as much as possible, emphasizing that Kherson can still be saved with sufficient support from the international community.
The trailer of the documentary Kherson:Human Safari, which tells the story of Russian terror in one of the hottest regions of the war, was released in late May. The film frankly shows life under occupation, the citizens' struggle for freedom, the crimes of the Russian military, and the current reality of Kherson under constant drone attacks.
Recently, hackers have gained access to orders from the Russian military, which confirm the Kremlin's plans not only to destroy Kherson, but also to provoke a large-scale environmental disaster. The documents indicate an intention to force the Dnipro River, seize the Korabel neighborhood, and simultaneously intensify attacks on energy and water treatment infrastructure.
