A child is among the wounded after massive strikes in Kherson region

Over the past day, Russian troops shelled 34 localities in Kherson region, including Kherson, Beryslav and Bilozerka. Two people were killed and two others were wounded, including a child.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
From 06:00 on September 5 to 06:00 on September 6, 2025, the enemy continued to shell the settlements of the Kherson region with drones, aircraft and artillery.
The attacks hit 34 settlements, including Prydniprovske, Antonivka, Sadove, Naddnipryanske, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Beryslav, and the city of Kherson.
The occupying forces were hitting critical and social infrastructure and residential areas. A high-rise building, eight private houses and a car were damaged. The attacks killed two people and injured two others, including a child.
On August 4-5, Russian shelling damaged a multi-story building and 17 private houses in Kherson region. The attacks also destroyed an outbuilding, a truck, several garages and cars.
One person was killed and eight others were wounded by the Russian army. Among the injured is a 61-year-old resident of Kherson who sustained an explosive injury and a head contusion during the night shelling of Dniprovsky district on September 2. The woman was taken to hospital.
During the day, the occupants shelled a residential sector in Dniprovsky district with artillery fire. While clearing the rubble of one of the completely destroyed houses, rescuers found the body of a dead woman, who is currently being identified.
Later in the evening, in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, a 13-year-old teenager exploded on a mine left by Russian troops. The boy was riding a bicycle and hit a "petal" type anti-personnel mine.
The explosion caused a traumatic brain injury, contusion and shrapnel wounds to his face, chest and legs. The victim was taken to a hospital where he is under medical supervision. His condition is assessed as moderate.
Also on August 5, a well-known farmer and member of the Kherson Regional Council, Oleksandr Gordienko, was killed by a Russian drone strike. He had been working in the agricultural sector for more than three decades and headed the Kherson Farmers' Association. The enemy drone hit the car in which Hordienko was working in the field.
