The majority of Ukrainians support international administration in Crimea after de-occupation.
According to the Krymsky Viter Telegram channel, this is stated in a survey report conducted by the Rating sociological group.
It is noted that 77% of respondents supported the work of the international interim administration to ensure the process of adaptation in the liberated territories of Donbas and Crimea, while 18% were against this idea.
Also, according to 84% of respondents, the state should already take measures to support and establish communication with the population remaining under occupation. 46% believe that such initiatives should be aimed only at those who support Ukraine, 38% - at all. 9% said that such measures are not a priority, while 5% believe that the state should not spend resources on this.
Among the measures to support the population in occupation, the following were named as priorities: assistance in the movement of people from the occupied territories; social and pension payments to those who remained in the occupied territories (34%); ensuring the broadcasting of Ukrainian media (33%); guaranteeing the recognition of documents obtained in occupation (28%); involving young people from the occupied territories (26%); organizing access to public services (24%).
In addition, 13% of respondents strongly agreed that obtaining Russian citizenship in the occupation could be justified, while 42% rather agreed. 39% of respondents disagree with this thesis. People who do not have relatives in the occupied territories are most likely to be loyal to Russian citizenship.
"From July 5 to 12, 2024, Rating surveyed 2,000 Ukrainian citizens aged 18 and older based on a random sample of phone numbers. People were interviewed in all regions, except for the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas, as well as territories where there was no Ukrainian mobile coverage at the time of the survey. Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a bill on the restoration of Ukrainian state power in Crimea. According to the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, if the Ukrainian parliament votes in favor, the law will allow the creation of military administrations throughout Crimea and the peninsula's settlements.
