As a result of shelling by Russian occupation forces, the contact network in Kherson was damaged.
This was reported by the head of Kherson MVA Roman Mrochko.
The official's post says that specialists of Khersonelectrotrans are currently carrying out emergency repair work.
Mrochko also said that last night Russian terrorists attacked the territory of one of the municipal transport enterprises of the Kherson City Council. The shelling damaged buildings and several vehicles, including buses and trucks. No people were injured.

The official added that in the morning the enemy attacked Antonivka. As a result, a 55-year-old woman was injured. She was hospitalized with a mine-blast injury, an open leg fracture and multiple shrapnel wounds.
In general, on October 29 in Kherson region, according to the head of the Kherson Military District Oleksandr Prokudin, Antonivka, Komyshany, Prydniprovske, Zelenivka, Chornobaivka, Sadove, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Mykilske, Beryslav, Dudchany, Zolota Balka, Lvov and the city of Kherson came under enemy fire and air strikes by the Russian occupation army.
During the shelling, the Russian invaders hit critical infrastructure facilities, an educational institution and a store; residential areas of the region's settlements, including 3 high-rise buildings and 30 private houses. The occupiers also damaged gas pipelines, garages, buses and private cars.
Three people were killed and 15 others were injured that day as a result of Russian aggression.
Earlier it was reported that on October 28 in the afternoon, after an explosive was dropped from an enemy drone, the balcony of one of the apartments in a high-rise building caught fire. Firefighters arrived promptly and extinguished the fire on an area of 5 square meters. In the evening, 101 received a report of a fire in a residential building that had been hit by an enemy shell. The fire was extinguished over an area of 30 square meters.

According to Roman Mrochko, the head of Kherson MVA, 3 traffic lights in the city are out of service as a result of night shelling: Kozatsky lane/Independence Avenue, Kozatsky lane/Mykhailo Hrushevsky street, Kozatsky lane/Mykolaivske highway.
