Updated! Tragic night in Odesa region: a victim of a rocket attack and destruction from shelling

Last night Odesa region suffered another attack from the enemy. Russian troops attacked the region with missiles and drones.

According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, a 62-year-old woman was killed in a rocket attack in Odesa district.

In addition, the explosions damaged several buildings and cars. Dry grass caught fire, but the fire was quickly extinguished thanks to the prompt actions of rescuers.

In the morning, the enemy continued the attack, this time using Shahed-type attack drones. The attack resulted in no casualties and no serious damage to infrastructure.

Kiper also noted that during the rocket and drone attacks, air defense forces and means destroyed most of the targets.

Updated at 9:55 am: The Air Force reported that the enemy attacked Odesa region at night with four X-59/69 guided missiles.

In total, the Russian army launched 6 missiles and 78 drones at Ukraine, of which the air defense forces shot down 4 X-59/69 missiles and 66 attack UAVs. Eight drones were locally lost, one returned to Russia, and one remains in Ukrainian airspace, and combat operations are ongoing.

Update at 10.50 a.m: Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war.

According to the investigation, on September 25, at about 22:20, Russian troops fired a rocket attack on Odesa district, which damaged administrative buildings and cars. A 62-year-old woman died as a result of the attack. At night, the region was also attacked by drones.

On September 24 , the Russian occupiers fired four X-59/69 guided missiles at the territory of Odesa region from the airspace of the Black Sea. Air defense forces managed to shoot down four missiles.

On Friday, September 20, Odesa also came under a missile attack by Russian occupation forces. People were injured in the shelling. According to preliminary data, the enemy fired at Odesa with Iskander-M ballistic missiles. Law enforcement officers documented the consequences of another attack by Russian troops.

On the evening of September 14, the occupiers fired two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the occupied Crimea at Odesa. Rescuers found the bodies of two dead men and a woman at the site of the attack. Another 65-year-old woman was also injured. She received shrapnel wounds to her head and right hip joint. She was hospitalized in moderate condition.

On the night of September 13, Odesa and its suburbs were under attack by Russians. The enemy used attack drones. It was noisy in many parts of the city.

On the night of September 12, Zmiinyi Island in Odesa region became a target for Russian invaders. Thus, two X-22/32 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 aircraft were fired from the airspace over the Black Sea.

On the night of September 11, the Russian occupation forces fired six X-31P anti-radar missiles from tactical aircraft in the direction of Zmiyiny Island.

The day before, on the night of September 10, Russian troops also attacked Zmeinyi using an X-31 guided missile.
