Updated! The enemy launched shahids in Odesa: first details of the attack

On the night of September 13, Odesa and its suburbs were under attack by Russians. The enemy used attack drones. It was loud in many parts of the city.

According to the press service of the Ukrainian Navy, during an air battle, the forces and means of the Ukrainian Navy shot down two enemy kamikaze drones in Odesa region.

In total, almost a dozen attack drones were launched in the direction of Odesa.

The wreckage of the downed Shahed was found on the city's streets. The photos were posted online by Kateryna Mikheitseva.

"The damn balalaika. Through my dream, I thought that drunk people were riding a moped. On a very big and harmful moped. In principle, it was close to reality. They almost drove through the window. Miraculously, no one was hurt," the Odesa resident said.

Updated at 09:15: Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, provided details of the attack. The enemy attacked with "shaheds" from the temporarily occupied Crimea. Air defense forces were actively engaged for almost an hour.

According to preliminary data, 4 garages, glass in 20 private houses, 4 cars and two outbuildings to residential buildings were damaged as a result of the falling debris in Odesa and the surrounding area. A 74-year-old man was injured and was diagnosed with a cut wound on his hand. He was treated by medics on the spot.

Law enforcement officers are currently documenting the consequences of another Russian attack on the civilian population of Odesa region.

Update at 09:45: According to the Air Force, 24 out of 26 "shaheds" were destroyed in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Khmelnytsky and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

Air alert in Odesa region was announced at 1:38 am. The Air Force warned that several groups of attack UAVs were moving towards the region, constantly changing their movement.

The South Air Command clarified that 16 UAVs were destroyed over Odesa region at night. In addition, on April 12, the occupiers attacked the region with a ballistic missile, probably an Iskander-M.

Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration , called on residents of Odesa and the region to take shelter because of the drone attack. Then numerous explosions were heard in the city. The ceasefire was announced at 03:25.

Earlier, the Russian military attacked a civilian ship in the Black Sea that was transporting wheat to Egypt.

On the night of September 12, Zmiinyi Island in Odesa region again became a target for Russian invaders. Thus, two X-22/32 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 aircraft were fired from the airspace over the Black Sea.

On the night of September 11, the Russian occupation forces fired six X-31P anti-radar missiles from tactical aircraft in the direction of Zmiyiny Island.

The day before, on the night of September 10, Russian troops also attacked Zmeinyi using an X-31 guided missile.
