SBU materials help to serve suspicion notices to two more collaborators who worked for the enemy during Kherson occupation
According to the press service of the agency, the Security Service has documented the activities of two more enemy collaborators who were employed by racist institutions during the occupation of Kherson.
It is noted that one of the defendants was appointed the so-called "first deputy head of a paramilitary security detachment" at the Russian-held railway in the regional center. The offender supervised his subordinate personnel, organized the protection of railway facilities and cargo. He kept records of the safety and use of ammunition of the paramilitary group. He also took measures to ensure the regime, secrecy and mobilization training of the "guards".
Another traitor, according to the press service, was appointed as the so-called "deputy head of the economic support department" of the occupation tax office. The collaborator provided the units of the pseudo-agency with material and technical resources, thus contributing to its "proper" activities.
In the framework of criminal proceedings, both offenders were served a notice of suspicion under Part 7 of Art. 111-1 (collaboration) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They face up to 15 years in prison. The operation was conducted by the SBU in Kherson region jointly with the State Bureau of Investigations in Melitopol under the supervision of the regional Prosecutor's Office.
Earlier it was reported that the SBU had served suspicion notices to two more collaborators who had taken positions in the occupation "ministries" in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region.
It was also reported that the "deputy head" of the occupation government, who represented the occupied Kherson region at economic forums in Russia, was suspected.
