Crimean Tatar ceramist Rustem Skybin painted a Kefin or Crimean tulip on the Magura surface drone of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (GUR). The artist's creative work symbolizes a young man, a defender, denotes valor, the will to win and allied support.

This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

"The art project with Magura aims to remind of Ukraine's successes during the war with Russia in the Black Sea, achieved by the skill of our soldiers and technological weapons. Magura is the world's first and currently the only surface drone that has destroyed enemy ships in combat conditions," the DIU said.

The video shows a Crimean Tatar artist mixing paints and painting a boat. All this was happening in a factory shop, and the background music for the video was the song "1944" by the singer of Crimean Tatar origin Jamala.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Crimea should return to Ukraine in accordance with international law. He noted that the annexation of Crimea, which Turkey has opposed from day one, has further deepened the suffering of Crimean Tatars who survived deportation 80 years ago.

"Our support for the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine remains unwavering. The return of Crimea to Ukraine is a requirement of international law," the Turkish president said.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy also said that he hoped for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ' s help in returning Crimean Tatars from Russian captivity. According to Zelenskyy, no world leader has yet succeeded in returning Crimean Tatars from Russian captivity. Thanks to the exchanges that took place before Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, "several people" were returned home.

The Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea called on the international community to pay attention to the crimes of the occupiers. The office said in a statement that the occupation court of Simferopol had sent five illegally detained residents of Dzhankoy and the Dzhankoy district of Crimea to a pre-trial detention center. These are Enver Khalilayev, Nariman Ametov, Ali Mamutov, Imam of the Lobanovo village mosque Vahid Mustafayev and activist Arsen Kashko. All the detainees were taken into custody for two months.
