Russians kill a civilian and wound nine others in Kherson region

On September 7, 1 person was killed and 9 others were wounded in the liberated Kherson region as a result of Russian aggression.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Antonivka, Sadove, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Kizomys, Tokarivka, Prydniprovske, Shyroka Balka, Honcharne, Poniativka, Beryslav, Urozhayne, Tyahyntsi, Havrylivka, Zmiivka, Odradokamyanka, Osokorivka, Vesele, and the city of Kherson came under enemy fire and air strikes.

According to KHOVA, the Russian military hit critical infrastructure, medical facilities, the Point of Unbreakability; residential areas of the region's settlements, including 3 high-rise buildings and 19 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipeline, outbuildings, a warehouse and private cars.

In the morning, Russian aviation attacked settlements in Beryslav district. The enemy dropped 5 guided bombs. One hit near a residential building. A 28-year-old woman sustained multiple shrapnel wounds with glass. She was taken to a hospital for medical care. The house of culture, which was destroyed earlier as a result of shelling, also came under fire.

The Russian military also shelled Poniativka with artillery. The shelling injured a 63-year-old man. He sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries, contusion, and a broken hip. A 45-year-old local resident also sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of hostile shelling of the village.

In the afternoon, the occupants dropped explosives from a UAV on a resident of Odradokamianka. A 69-year-old woman was injured in the attack. She was taken to the hospital with an explosive injury, leg and abdominal wounds. A resident of Mykhaylivka, who was hit by an enemy drone, was also taken to the hospital. The occupiers attacked her in the morning of March 6. The 77-year-old woman was diagnosed with mine-blast trauma, contusion, concussion and leg injury.

The Russian military also attacked Komyshany at night. Four residents were wounded in the shelling.

All of them sustained mine-blast injuries and contusions. A 70-year-old woman received a shrapnel wound to her leg. A 65-year-old man was diagnosed with a chest wound. A 41-year-old man sustained injuries to his shoulder and forearm. The victims were hospitalized. Another 52-year-old woman was treated on the spot. She refused to be hospitalized.

In addition, a resident of Antonivka, who was injured in the morning of September 6 as a result of a Russian drone attack, was admitted to the hospital. The 69-year-old man was diagnosed with mine-blast trauma, shrapnel wounds to his forearm and arm. He was provided with the necessary assistance and released for outpatient treatment.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration also reported that during a nighttime drone attack, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 3 Shahed-131/136 over the territory of the region.
