Resident of Kherson registered a local utility company according to the standards of the aggressor country

A resident of Kherson was sentenced to 11 years in prison for aiding the aggressor state.
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The post says that a local resident was found guilty of aiding the aggressor state (Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) for supporting the public prosecution of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office. The court sentenced him to 11 years in prison with confiscation of property. He was also deprived of the right to hold any positions in state and local government bodies, state and municipal enterprises, institutions, organizations providing public services for a period of 15 years.

It was proved that the convict actively collaborated with the enemy during the temporary occupation of Kherson. He held the position of the so-called "acting director of the state unitary enterprise Kherson Heat Networks," which was subordinated to the "Department of Fuel and Energy Complex" of the occupation administration of Kherson region. The man registered the enterprise under Russian law and organized its work. Part of the company's profits went to the budget of the occupation authorities.
The special pre-trial investigation was conducted by the SBU investigators in Kherson region.
Earlier it was reported that Gennadiy Shchurov, a candidate for the position of the head of Khersonteploenergo, declared land and business registered in Crimea. It is noted that Shchurov listed a 700 m2 land plot in Sevastopol and a 48 m2 apartment in Dnipro as real estate. He also owns 50% in the authorized capital of the company Specialized Company Slavutych LLC, which is also registered in Sevastopol.
