Rescuers in Kherson region find body of dead man under rubble

Yesterday, on September 15, in the evening, enemy troops shelled the city of Kherson once again.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kherson region.
The post says that a private residential building caught fire in one of the neighborhoods due to shelling. During the work of fire and rescue units, there was a constant threat of repeated attacks, including from enemy UAVs. Despite all the difficulties, the fire was extinguished.
Also on September 15, the 101 service received a report that a building had been destroyed in one of the villages of Novoraysk TG due to night shelling, and that there might be people under the rubble. Rescuers were engaged in search operations. During the debris removal the body of the deceased was found.

In addition, 12 fires in ecosystems were extinguished by rescuers in Kherson region over the past day. Dead wood and debris were burning in open areas with a total area of 13.08 hectares.
The day before, Kherson rescuers extinguished six fires in ecosystems. The total area extinguished was 2.27 hectares. Also, the night before, the Russian army struck the settlements of Novoraysk TG. Fires broke out in a medical facility, two residential buildings and a summer kitchen. Beryslav rescuers eliminated all the fires. On the same day, the occupiers attacked the suburbs of Kherson. Three residential buildings caught fire simultaneously as a result of enemy ammunition. Rescuers arrived promptly and extinguished the fires. No victims were found at the scene of the fires.
Earlier it was reported that the occupiers attacked Kherson firefighters while they were overcoming the consequences of shelling. Thus, while extinguishing one of the fires, firefighters had to move to a safe place due to the activity of enemy UAVs.
