Rejoices at missile attacks on Ukrainian cities: "military expert" from Crimea is suspected of justifying Russian aggression

The autonomy's prosecutor's office has submitted to the court an indictment against a "military expert" from Crimea who publicly calls for an aggressive war against Ukraine.
According to the prosecutor's office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, during 2022, a citizen of Ukraine repeatedly appeared in propaganda media as a "military expert". In particular, the accused provided comments to the First Sevastopol TV channel and Ukraine-ru, in which he approved of the rocket attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure and the aggressive offensive actions of the enemy army. Also, in numerous interviews, he called for the "liberation" of Ukrainian cities, speculated on the direction of further attacks, compared the war in Ukraine to "Afghanistan" and answered questions about the "invasion of Belarus in Western Ukraine".
The forensic linguistic examination confirmed that the accused's statements contained justifications for the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, public calls for the continuation of the aggressive war against Ukraine, the seizure of its state power and territory.
His actions are qualified as:
- public calls for the seizure of state power;
- public calls to change the boundaries of the territory, the state border of Ukraine;
- collaboration activities;
- public calls for aggressive war;
- justifying, recognizing the legitimacy of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine through the media.
For these actions, the accused faces up to 12 years in prison.
Earlier, Daryna Safonova , editor-in-chief of the occupation media holding "TRK Krym", was suspected of justifying the temporary occupation of part of the territory of Ukraine with the use of the media . Also, , the National Police of Ukraine reported that Kherson journalist Tetyana Levandovska, who voluntarily agreed to head the illegal "Department of Mass Media and Public Relations" in the occupation "administration" of Kherson region, was suspected of collaboration. Prior to the occupation, Levandovska worked as a presenter at the regional TV channel "Scythia", had her own television projects and was engaged in PR for Volodymyr Saldo and Vitaliy Buliuk.
