Order "For Courage" presented to son of fallen hero from Snihurivka

In the Snihuriv community of Mykolaiv region, the only son of the fallen junior sergeant Artem Vanin, Tymofii, received the Order for Courage, III degree, which was posthumously awarded to his father.
According to Ivan Kukhta, the head of the Snihuriv City Military Administration, Artem Vanin was killed in action on December 31, 2022, in eastern Ukraine, near the village of Chervonopopivka, Luhansk region.
Artem was born on December 8, 1987 in Snihurivka. He studied at the local school No. 3, after which he entered the Mykolaiv branch of the Kyiv National University of Culture. After graduation, he worked as a private entrepreneur in Mykolaiv.
During his service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Artem served as a deputy commander of a combat vehicle, a gunner-operator of the second company of the first parachute battalion. He was known for his courage, patriotism and bravery.
"His young life was cut short by the war at the age of 36. Artem was a patriot of his city, a true warrior who fought for the freedom and independence of Ukraine to the last," said Ivan Kukhta.
Earlier, Snihuriv City Council announced the start of accepting proposals from residents to create a logo (brand) for the Snihuriv City Territorial Community.
Vyacheslav Snitsarev, a resident of Pivdenoukrainsk, received one of the highest military awards in Ukraine - the Cross of the Brave.
In Mykolaiv, the Aviation Day honors those who defended the city from the Russian occupation army and continue to repel the enemy's invasion.
Recently, a brigade of Mykolaiv marines was solemnly awarded by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, for their courage and bravery on the battlefield.
