On November 5, Bilozerka, Kizomys, Veletenske, Chornobaivka, Mykilske, Shyroka Balka, Naddnipryanske, Chervonyi Mayak, Beryslav, Osokorivka, Stanislav, Zelenivka, Monastyrske, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove and the city of Kherson came under enemy fire and air strikes in Kherson region.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

The post says that during the shelling of the region, the Russian occupiers hit critical infrastructure facilities, administrative buildings, a banking institution; in residential areas of the region's settlements, a high-rise building and 26 private houses were damaged. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipeline, agricultural machinery and private cars.

Five civilians were injured as a result of Russian aggression. Thus, on November 5, at about 21:20, the Russian military shelled Zelenivka with artillery. As a result, two women aged 61 and 82 sustained injuries of varying degrees. They were in their house at the time of the attack. The victims were taken to the hospital, where doctors examined them and provided the necessary assistance. A woman who was injured in the Russian shelling of Bilozerka also turned to the hospital. The 44-year-old local resident sustained explosive trauma and a concussion as a result of a shelling on November 3. The victim is under medical supervision. At ten in the morning, Russian troops attacked a residential building in Veletynske. As a result of the enemy shelling, an 88-year-old man who was inside the building sustained an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to his back. An ambulance crew provided medical assistance to the victim.

Earlier it was reported that one civilian was injured on November 4 in the right-bank part of Kherson region as a result of Russian aggression. The press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that on that day at noon, Russian troops attacked Beryslav. As a result of the enemy shelling, a 63-year-old man sustained an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to his leg. The victim was taken to a hospital for medical care.
