"By doing so, the Russian Federation grossly violates the rules of warfare, ignores the norms and obligations under the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction," the statement said.

Earlier it was said that the terrorist state uses banned chemical weapons - K-51 aerosol grenades. "The occupants are dropping chloropicrin grenades from drones on our defenders in the East. In order to protect themselves from the strong irritating effect of prohibited ammunition, the marines held their positions wearing chemical protection equipment," said Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynskyi, 36th Separate Marine Brigade.

Ukraine has also launched the first training course for military environmental auditors in the field of humanitarian demining. After completing the course, future specialists will document audits, draw up working and final reports in accordance with EU environmental legislation. The courses "Environmental Audit and Environmental Issues Related to Humanitarian Demining" were organized by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Environment under the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine. They will last until mid-November.
