In the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region, the occupiers threaten sanctions against drivers who have not exchanged their license for Russian ones.
This was reported by the press service of the National Resistance Center.
The post says that in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, the Russian occupiers plan to tighten control over drivers. It is about the obligation to have a Russian driver's license. The so-called foreign or Ukrainian ones are planned to be invalidated in the near future.
It is noted that along with passportization in the occupied territories, the Kremlin is actively seeking to transfer all documentation of the local population to its own standard. However, this process is failing. Therefore, the enemy resorts to blackmail. For example, Russians refuse to register pregnant Ukrainian women without a Russian passport. Thus, the girl has no access to medical care and social benefits. At the same time, passportization of the future mother automatically makes her child a "Russian".
Earlier it was reported that on September 1, the occupiers introduced a pass regime in the temporarily occupied territories of the Novokakhovka district of Kherson region. First of all, this applies to Nova Kakhovka and the 15-kilometer zone. The Russian occupation administrations of the region have already started accepting applications for the necessary paperwork. In addition, from the beginning of next month, those who have not received the relevant "document" will be brought to administrative responsibility and fined. It is noted that under this guise, the occupiers are once again conducting filtration activities.
It was also said that the occupiers are forcing residents of the left-bank Kherson region and other temporarily occupied territories to renounce Ukrainian citizenship. Thus, the Russians continue their policy of forced passportization in the occupied regions.
