On the night of October 9, the occupiers attacked a geriatric center in Kherson region. Two medical workers were injured in the attack - an investigation has been launched
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The post says that under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched in criminal proceedings over violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on October 9, at about 02:00, the Russian army fired artillery at Stepanivka in the Kherson district. They hit the territory of a geriatric center. Two medical workers were injured.
Prosecutors, together with other law enforcement agencies, are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the Russian armed forces.
Also, on October 7, at about 11:00 a.m., the Russian army shelled Antonivka with artillery once again. A 56-year-old man sustained injuries incompatible with life. Four victims were taken to the hospital - three men and a woman.
Earlier it was reported that during the shelling of the region on October 7, the Russian military hit educational institutions, a cultural institution, a library and an administrative building; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, 14 high-rise buildings and 15 private houses were damaged. The occupiers also vandalized private cars. According to the Kherson MVA, the enemy continued to shell the settlements of the Kherson city territorial community with various types of weapons and launched an air strike on the central district of the city. Zymivnyk, Komyshany, and Sadove were also under fire. In particular, 10 private houses, a hangar, an administrative building, and two civilian cars were damaged. As a result of Russian hostile shelling of the Kherson city territorial community over the past day, 23 people, including two children, sustained injuries of varying severity. All were provided with the necessary medical assistance.
