Antonivka, Dniprovske, Tokarivka, Sadove, Bilozerka, Tomyna Balka, Kizomys, Shyroka Balka, Inzhenerne, Prydniprovske, Stanislav, Mykhailivka, Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Dudchany, Osokorivka, Tyahynka, Potemkine, Novoraysk, Topolyne and the city of Kherson came under enemy fire and air strikes in Kherson region yesterday.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Military District.

He added that the enemy launched a missile attack on Beryslav district. The missile was destroyed as a result of combat work of the Air Defense Forces

The official's post says that during the shelling of the region, Russian occupation forces hit critical infrastructure, educational and medical institutions, an administrative building; residential areas of the region's settlements, including five high-rise buildings and 13 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipeline, outbuildings, and private and company cars.

As a result of Russian aggression, one civilian was killed and 10 others were injured in the right-bank part of Kherson region on that day. Thus, on August 26 in the evening in Dniprovsky district, the occupiers attacked a civilian car with a couple in it from a drone. The 68-year-old man died as a result of severe injuries. Doctors fought for his life to the last. The 59-year-old woman sustained blast trauma, contusion and arm injuries. Around 13.00, the Dniprovsky district of Kherson came under attack from the Russian army from the temporarily occupied left bank. Several explosions were heard in the yards of high-rise buildings. The enemy targeted residential buildings. Four women were wounded at the site of the shelling, three of them had to be hospitalized.
