Yesterday, on October 12, Beryslav, Novovorontsovka, Tyahyntsi, Shlyakhove, Antonivka, Sadove, Inzhenerne, Prydniprovske, Zymivnyk, Lvov and the city of Kherson came under enemy fire and air strikes in the Kherson region.
This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
The official said that during the shelling of the region, the Russian military hit a critical infrastructure facility and a cell tower; residential areas of the region's settlements, including a high-rise building and three private houses.

The Kherson MVA noted that over the past day, the enemy continued to shell the settlements of the Kherson city territorial community. Damage was recorded in Kherson, Antonivka, Zymivnyk, Inzhenerne, and Sadove. In particular, a private house and a multi-storey building were damaged.
Prokudin added that three civilians were injured in the region on October 12 as a result of Russian aggression.
Earlier it was reported that on October 10, at about 17:30, the invaders from the Russian army dropped explosives from a UAV on the territory of a medical institution in Kherson. The explosion injured a nurse. Also, a 56-year-old man was wounded during the artillery shelling of the regional center. On the spot, medics also treated a minor girl for an acute stress reaction. In addition, in the village of Davydiv Brid, a 59-year-old man, driving special equipment during road works, came across an explosive device. As a result of its detonation, the man sustained an acubarotrauma.
Also on the night of October 9, the occupiers attacked a geriatric center in Kherson region. Two medical workers were injured as a result of the attack. At about 02:00, the Russian army fired artillery at Stepanivka in Kherson district. They hit the territory of a geriatric center. Two medical workers were injured.
