Nearly 20 wounded and a woman killed in Kherson region due to shelling and explosives dumping

Almost 20 civilians were wounded in the Kherson territorial community on September 26.

According to Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson MCA, as of 6 p.m ., there were already 16 wounded in the community as a result of enemy shelling over the day.

A 46-year-old woman was the last one to seek medical help. Yesterday morning in the Dniprovsky district of the city, she sustained a mine-blast injury and contusion. The victim is being provided with the necessary medical care.

After that, two more people were injured by enemy drones in the Dniprovsky district of the city from 18.00 to 19.00. Thus, a man born in 1998 turned to doctors with an explosive injury, contusion and shrapnel wounds. After receiving the necessary medical care, he will continue to be treated on an outpatient basis. The 41-year-old victim also sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds. In addition, on September 27 in the morning, at about 06:15, a loud explosion occurred in the Tavrychesky district of Kherson. It has not yet been reported where the explosion hit.

Before that, the enemy attacked Antonivka with a drone at about 16.30. A 70-year-old man sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds. He sought medical treatment himself. A 43-year-old man also sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds. He turned to doctors himself. In addition, a 45-year-old man came under attack from an enemy drone at about 13.40 in Dniprovsky district of the city. He turned to doctors for help, who diagnosed him with a mine-blast injury, a shrapnel wound to his right shin and a fractured tibia.

Also in Kherson region, Russian occupation forces shelled the village of Tomyna Balka in the evening. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District, they launched at least six rocket artillery strikes. They hit an outbuilding and a fire broke out. A woman born in 1967 died on the spot. Her 62-year-old husband was also wounded. In the region, the occupiers hit critical infrastructure facilities, an educational institution; residential areas of the region's settlements, including 3 high-rise buildings and 22 private houses. The occupiers also damaged outbuildings, a garage, agricultural machinery, an ambulance and private cars.
